According to The Hollywood Reporter:
"Family Guy" will likely bring back a character that made headlines for angering Sarah Palin.
Creator Seth MacFarlane told Comic-Con audiences that "Down Syndrome Girl" would likely make a return to the show and even sang the character's theme song live to the San Diego crowd.
"My guess is that at some point we will [bring her back]," MacFarlane said, "despite all the Palin business."
The incredible backlash directed at Seth MacFarlane was fairly impressive, even by Palin-bot standards.
It is always very gratifying to see somebody emerge from that kind of vicious attack even stronger and more determined to continue doing what they have been doing, with even more energy and creativity.
My Family Guy viewing is sporadic at best, but you can bet I will make sure not to miss this one.
You know anything that pisses Sarah Palin off is "must see TV" for me.
The sooner some people stop acting like Trig is the only child ever to be born with DS and that Sarah the Retard is the arbiter of all that's good, holy and moral, the better off we all will be.

ReplyDeleteThis is an attack on Sarah Palin. Maybe one of the worst she's ever gotten. I don't know how anybody could find this funny. Imagine this: What if YOU had a child with down syndrome. And somebody started making fun of you and your child on tv. You wouldn't be laughing. Would you?

An Attack on Palin? "Hi i'm a Teenaged Redhead Girl with DS." No where did i see "i'm a infant boy with DS." did you? All family guy did was say "hey people with DS are Human like me and you, good days and bad days. Food for thought, Down Syndrome is known in the medical world as Trisomy 21, which when shortened is TriG. so if Family guy make a joke with said Trisomy 21 then yes bad joke.
